A little confusing…
I read a ton of reviews before purchasing both this test and the Intelligender test. The intelligender test gave me a “boy” result, so I was curious what this one would say. I’d read how some reviewers got a strange “purple” colored result with this one, instead of pink or blue, and that the company sometimes interpretes this to mean “boy.” I got a very dark purple result. This color actually looked a lot like the color at the very beginning of the “girl” spectrum on the instructional insert, but at my ultrasound I discoverd I am, in fact, expecting a boy. It was a fun test to do, but just a bit confusing in the end.

Makes predictions for “entertainment purposes only”
Well. I read the previous reviews for this before testing this product so I was already sceptical to say the least. It arrived promptly and was easy enough to use. The results are said to be just for “entertainment purposes only” and not to “make any financial or emotional investments based on this test”. If you’re looking for something to have fun with, then this is a fine little devise that is 50/50 accurate. If you’re looking for real results that you can trust, go to a doctor.

Very easy to use!
I received the product earlier than expected and found that it was very easy to use. The product does come with instructions and a color chart to help you read the results of the test. It is important to note that this test is for entertainment purposes only; that I know of there is no science supporting urine as a way to predict gender when one is pregnant. Still I found this product fun to use and can’t wait to see if the results were correct.

Bought 2 of these – Said it’s a Girl. $300 Easy-DNA test said Boy..
July 2012 – We bought this test around about a month ago…It resulted with a GIRL. We’re excited being that we have 2 boys already and this is our last effort for a girl. Then we bought the $300 Easy-DNA.com test with its 99.98% accuracy and boastful attitude that they have never been wrong…..it resulted BOY ….Then bought another one of these Gender Predictor test recently, since they’re so cheap, now around her 14th week mark…it says again, GIRL.Will update as the months progress but so far we’re rootin’ for this product and its GIRL prediction both times!! :)) …stay tuned for more later.UPDATE 8/9/2012 – We recently found out with the 19 week ultrasound – It’s truly another BOY! So even though we bought 2 of these and both times said girl and the $300 test said Boy..we still had fun doing it.. Luckily these are very affordable and they help get the excitement going even more (even though both of these we bought were wrong..). Still fun. 🙂

Cant confirm if its right yet! But It gave me hope and it’s allot of Fun
Ok I’m about 11 weeks pregnant. I have 2 little boys already. I have always wanted a little girl and now I’m pregnant. Was not planning this and I’m not sure if I am ready. In my husbands family it’s almost impossible to have a girl. Last one born was 25 years ago. I’m not patient and I am DIEING to know the gender on the off chance it might be that little girl I always wanted. I just took the test and within 15-20 seconds it started to change into a semi dark pink. This gives me hope and I really hope my test can be positive as these other woman’s test. I can’t wait to find out! Also I took the Chinese Gender Calendar which resulted in Girl!!! So I am hoping this will be my little girl I have wished for.Im gonna go buy the intellagender test as well to see the results. Will post my updates.I def. recommend this test it is so much fun to do. Especially if your not patient on waiting for that 20 week sonogram.

Its a cheap thing, 50/50
Its a for fun test, mostly like a 80% chance itll tell you girl over boy for sure. Comes in a cheap plastic wrapper as if it were a bought in a condom machine slot. But it’s all about the fun I dont think though I would pay ever $24 total for a fun test to take when it’s this cheap looking, at least the intelligender looks a but fancier. Mine said girl yesterday, today at our ultrasound for sure it’s a baby boy. It’s all up to you if you want to spend money on this thing I did it for fun but really waste of money.

I think it’s a boy. But was unsure of the color result. Probably wouldn’t buy again.

THIS IS JUST FOR FUN
This test came out “pink” for me and ended up getting blood work to confirm it’s actually a baby boy . I bought it just for fun to pass the time through my pregnancy, definitely not accurate. Shipping was fast, also came with a free gift. Would recommend for first time mom just for fun

Just for fun
For being a just for fun test that just checks hormone levels and goes on a colored based off that this is a pretty awesome fun little test. The first one I receive already showed blue before use so I contacted them and they sent me a new one free of charge. The next one was usable and a few weeks later a blood test confirmed the accuracy of this test. Again I just did it for fun.

Cheap and fun
It wasn’t accurate for me but it was fun and cheap to do.

Easy to use but not accurate for me.
Super simple fun little way to “guess” baby’s gender. Unfortunately not accurate for me. I did 3 different “gender predictors” and they all came up girl. My symptoms even pointed towards a girl, but I was blessed with a little boy.

It was fun but don’t know what we are having 🙂 UPDATE!!!!
I ordered this when I was 10 weeks pregnant (14 weeks now) and it was so fun! It showed up a pink purple color which means girl. However I took the Intelligender and it said Boy. I won’t know who is correct for awhile but I will be sure to update my reveiw when I do. We already have a little girl and would be thrilled for another but seeing how my husbands grandpal is in the hospital we would like to have a boy while he was alive to carry on the last name but we will see. Even if we have a girl she will be named after someone so important to usUPDATE: I took this test at 9 weeks and just had my 20 week scan andit’s a BOY.The test showed girl. I wasnt expecting it to be right but it helped me to get used to the fact of 2 girls so I cant say it wasnt fun!

No idea if it is accurate. Just for fun!
I’m just barely pregnant but I’ve had a feeling about the gender since before i even knew for sure that I was pregnant. So this is just for fun and to see if it turns the color i am thinking. lol. But this product did come super quick and the maker even sent a note and I just thought the personal touch and sharing of songs she liked during pregnancy was so sweet. Thanks!

For fun only
It’s fun but definitely not accurate! It’s 50/50 either way you look at it, the color is also very hard to tell the difference between, I wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking to actually know what ur having, mine said boy, but I’m having a girl 💗

Gender maker
So I did morning pee. It’s turned pink purple. Then a grey color. I’m at 13 weeks. So I order another one called bliss. But I don’t know why it did the color like that. 😕

It’s fun and loved trying it!
I’m 10 weeks pregnant with my 3rd and first time buying anything like this! We have 2 girls already so we’re anxiously waiting to find out if baby #3 is our boy and this test said boy! Lol In about 6 weeks I’ll know and will update with accuracy! Overall test was fun, easy to use and showed up right away, also loved getting the CD for baby and I! Made the whole experience even more fun and will buy again if I’m expecting in the years to Come or for friends and family that are expecting as a fun gift for them to try!🙂

Surprised
Got three of these for fun. We were putting very little into the validity of them. All three came back as girl. A month later we had genetic testing done and we’re having a girl.

Disappointed
I’m disappointed in the product because I at least expected it to be pink or blue whether the sex was correct or not. Apparently the predictor was confused because it couldn’t pick what it wanted.I followed directions exactly even though I wanted to do the test as soon as it arrived. I did wait till the next morning and followed exact directions. You can look at the test and see that there’s color spots where the results will come up… They look like little blue/purple spots. I deposited the urine like it said and waited the 15 seconds. It was immediately pink/ish. With some blue mixed in but it kept getting darker. I read that other people were saying that the tests weren’t accurate unless you leave them sitting for at least 10-15 min. I rechecked the test 15 mins later and it was waaaaay more blue with just a hint of pinkish specs. So…. not sure what to think. Test said results would be in 15 seconds when other people and other sites say 15 minutes. So, I leave the test there for my husband to look at and he takes a peek about 3 hours later. He laughs at me and hands me the test. Apparently the test is REALLY confused now because it’s purple. Completely purple. So….. I just leave it. Waiting to see what else this thing might do, lol. Next morning I get up, go to the bathroom and wow! The thing is now back to the white with the little blueish specs that it was to start with. Amazing!!! I showed my DH and he just laughed and said it’s apparently some magic trick…. where this company made $24 disappear. 🙂 I actually decided it can’t hurt to do it again. Peed, started the process over and what do ya know… Same exact process happened. I started to have my DH pee in it and see what happened but he was done with it.I understand this is for entertainment purposes only and that’s the only reason I gave it a 2. I was so excited to get it whether it was correct or not. I just wanted SOMETHING normal to come up.I read reviews on this one and intelligender before I bought this one cause intelligender was apparently having the same problems I ended up having with this one so I tried gendermaker since it had much better reviews.Hopefully other people don’t have this problem cause it sucks to waste that much money and not really get any entertainment value out of it.

Just for fun I guess! UPDATE!!!
Dec 20: I bought the kit on Dec. 15th and it arrived on Dec 19th (I was amazed at the fast shipping and that is only why I am giving it a 3star). I took the test early in the morning & followed the detailed instructions but the result that I got was not pink or blue, it was PURPLE which somehow matches the girl and the boy result on both ends (this is very confusing). I have contacted the seller (GenderMaker) and I hope to hear from them.Anyways this is just for FUN, so I guess I cannot count on it.I will definitely post updates in the future and I hope to get this 3star to 5star if the seller responds and if it works out fine.Dec 21: I received a messaged from customer service and it says: “Thank you for contacting us. Dark purple color indicates a boy result! The colors indicating a boy result may vary from light blue to dark purple. Please refer to the color chart included with your test.”I am still skeptical about it because my result was just purple, again this is just for fun. It is better to wait and confirm the gender with ultrasound or delivery!Dec 29, 2011: I received another test in the mail and this time, the result was light purple and within 10 minutes, it started to change to blue? I’m not sure why that happened. I will post update on what ultrasound says in about 9wks.UPDATE – Mar. 1, 2012: Ultrasound confirmed that I’m having a boy!

Pretty accurate
I’m surprised that even though just for fun it was actually accurate wish I had pics for it but color went away I had use it awhile back

It worked for me
It worked for me but if you let it sit too long the colors start to fade into a purple so you start to second guess yourself
Bb –
Not the best
Mine was neither pink or blue it was like a purple. I ended up having a boy. I knew this probably wasn’t gonna be accurate but it was just something fun to do but the color makes it so hard to tell which is which on the color scale. It’s honestly just a waste of money. This go around (pregnant again) I’m gonna just try the myths (baking soda, etc)

Easy and Fun
This test was extremely easy to use and can be used much earlier in pregnancy than the Intelligender test. The results are easy to read at home (also much easier than Intelligender) and do not require being sent off to a lab at an additional cost. I have no idea how accurate it is, and won’t know for another 7 weeks at my 20-week ultrasound (I hope). However, I purchased the test for fun, and that it was. I give it four stars, only because I cannot rate its accuracy at this time.Update: Jan 10, 2011We just had our sonogram at 19 weeks and our baby was very obviously a boy. The test predicted a girl, so it’s accuracy leaves much to be desired. I’ve reduced my rating to three stars as a result. That said, the test is really just meant for fun. Kind of expensive fun in hindsight. It would be nice if the manufacturer revealed some real science behind the test, i.e., exactly what chemical or hormone is the test detecting?

Accurate
Use this product with my first grandchild it said boy and we had a boy. I just purchased a second one for my second grandchild. This is fun while we wait with anticipation to confirm everything with blood work.

didn’t work for me
I don’t think I did it wrong but I took the test and it gave me no results. I wonder if its the packaging? Its this dinky little thing. No bubble wrap or peanuts. I’m alittle upset, I paid 30 dollars less then a week ago and its conveniently 10 dollars less now? I know it was just for fun but I thought I’d get some result! In the end I have learned my lesson. After I wrote this review the comany emailed me saying they were sorry and wanted to know if I’d like another one or a refund. I told them that I was finding out the sex next week and would like my money back. So they refunded me. Thank you very much.I gave them an extra 2 stars for good customer service.

did no work for me
I bought two of the gender kits at one time. I figured double the results. The color never quickly flashed pink or blue. There was no flash of color at all. Once the urine dripped and made contact with the result window it stayed the same color. The color was blue, red, pink, purple. All the colors that could mean boy or girl. And it did this on both tests. I took pictures of the test maybe 20 mins later and sent an email to the seller. They gave me a full refund on both test. I was more irritated than thinking this was fun. I had been told we were having a boy, then on the next ultrasound that it was a girl. Then we used these test and still nothing. So we finally paid for a 3D ultrasound and found out is is 100% a girl. So I think that if this test has worked for someone than it would be a fun experience. Yet for 30-40 dollars for each test is way to much to spend when it isn’t a sure thing. But this seller gave us a full refund. And was very fast at doing so. Enjoy and hope it works for you.

Uncertainty
Well, I had order 2 of these at the beginning of my current pregnancy and 2 of these at the end of the pregnancy. I had done both of them at the beginning while husband is deploy with the navy and for some odd reason both test came back to be more like a purple color, not really blue or pink as how it was suppose to be, so the gender is really up in the air.Toward the end of the pregnancy at 35 weeks, it it still showing purple neither pink or blue, so don’t really don’t know what it would really be as the few ultrasound I had cannot tell due to baby/fetus wasn’t cooperating.Makes it difficult when it doesn’t show the accurate color as the package described!

Just for fun
I bought this with the expectation that it would be just for fun, thank goodness. We were fine with either sex, but the grandparents REALLY wanted a girl. My test came back a dark but bright purple. Since it was nowhere close to blue, I read that as girl. They were stoked! At my ultrasound, the tech asked me about it and I told her what everybody had been saying. She said, “What does Mommy think? Mommy’s are always right.” I said, “I really think I’m having a boy.” She looked up and said, “See? Mommy’s are always right!” Only buy it if you have the cash to spare and it isn’t all that important to you. Our son is 2 now and we couldn’t be happier or more proud 🙂

Accurate
Not sure why it wasn’t letting me upload the photo but anyway… it was accurate!Took this test I believe between week 7/8. Result came back very fast. Fast forward to weeks later at 20 weeks pregnant, technician confirmed that I am having a girl. Definitely had fun with my husband trying to cheat and find out the gender sooner. Glad it was accurate!!

Confusing
So I was so excited and went ahead and purchased this. I am 8 weeks and 3 days. I have my first ultrasound and blood work in 2 weeks but I was just to anxious to know. This is not either blue or pink I know it is for fun but I’m so confused.

It was correct
I bought this and took it at 6 weeks it said girl. I took the infamous “Sneak peek” test and it said boy. We assumed sneek peak was correct and were so excited. We got an ultrasound and it said GIRL. THIS TEST WAS RIGHT Sneak peek was wrong!

WRONG RESULTS BUT GIVES CLOSURE
just got back from our gender scan and i’m happy to say that we are having a little boy! We have 2 girls now and we’re hoping for a boy but i took 2 of these tests ( one at 7 wks and again at 12wks) and they both read a very dark pink “girl” result sooooo it was wrong 2 times! What i will say is that this test gave me some temporary peace of mind and closure since i am a very impatient person when it comes to surprises/ secrets. I had accepted that we would have only daughters and told my husband to mentally prepare himself for it. Needless to say it was a very pleasant and welcomed surprise when we saw the little “turtle” between our baby’s legs! He’s most definitely a BOY. Very happy that this test was wrong!

Don’t rely on it being accurate.
I followed the instructions like you’re supposed to and it came out purple. So there’s a debate among my family whether that means boy or girl 😂. This is definitely something for “fun” I wouldn’t rely on this for like a gender reveal or anything.

It was accurate for us!
I purchased this just for fun bc – hello – we would find out the sex eventually no matter what – BUT it was accurate for us! It was a bit confusing bc it did turn dark purple, but after reading some comments, etc. from the company – that indicated BOY. We are indeed having a BOY!

It came out purple maybe a baby girl???
This is a 2nd time trying this product, 1st time was on the dot pink! Had baby girl 2014. But this time 2020 was little difficult to read. I ask my husband what color do you see?? We both agreed it looked purple. It looked like the color on both ends in the instructions, We had a baby girl🥰.

Got it for fun but MUST follow instructions!
Bought this for a friend. She did it the day before going to the doctor just for fun, followed the instructions carefully and it turned PINK. The doctor confirmed it was a girl the following day. Had a lot of fun with it and will order one earlier on if there is a next time. Plus, the package came quickly and had a nice little relaxation CD included which was a nice little surprise.

JUST FOR FUN! Just so you know 🙂
Sure easy to use! Yes I knew it was for fun 😉 I didn’t even know what color showed up! My hubs and I couldn’t tell. That would be my first priority in making a gag gift for gender that we knew wasn’t reliable was at least making the color stand out! I followed all instructions don’t worry! Fun to kill some time before gender sono 🙂 still 4 more weeks!
